I showed up at the Yale High Tide Rising / First Reign show fully wanting to respectfully interview (although with serious helpings of contempt) anyone from High Tide Rising. I asked a guy with a security pass (yes, you read that right) if they could get anyone for me to talk to. Steve, the bassist from the band came out and I asked him if he had the time for a quick interview. He replied with “Why the fuck would I want to be interviewed?” I suggested free publicity, but he was already storming off.

Leah Fraser
of Stun the Silence
October 17, 2005
Interviewed by Stephen Jersak
Stephen Jersak: Leah, Leah Fraser of Stun the Silence and many former projects. What are you up to right now music wise? Like, do you have any other projects?
Leah Fraser: well, not so much. I write acoustic songs and sometimes record them, but it’s just something to do when I’m bored.
SJ: How often is Stun the Silence working together?
LF: On average, about three practises a week, sometimes more, sometimes less. We’re just getting back into regularly scheduled rehearsals after not having practised for nearly three weeks after our last show.
