Fun 100
with Cran

Yeah! A Trinity party! Oh wait, that’s kind of lame! But Fun 100 and Cran played, so it’s okay. I was greeted at the house by a table full of CDs available for $3 each! After figuratively snatching a Futureheads CD from Jonny Hughes’s limp wrists (that wasn’t meant to be mean, I just couldn’t resist the symbolism), I was ready to enjoy some music.
Cran started out with a surprisingly upbeat set. Cran is so great. Clearly. The fast songs are amazing, and the slow song feel fast. It’s rare to never feel bored during a set, but Jonny did it. Plus, he was dressed up as a youth pastor. If that is not hillarious to you, you never went to one of the thousands of horrible youth groups across the continent.
Second and last was Fun 100. They played a set that was overall newer than most of what they play most of the time. Right now they have about 3 unrecorded songs that are amazing. These guys could and would become pop punk legends if the catch a break.
