As much as I like Jonny, or maybe because I like Jonny, I’m going to be honest about this album (not that I’m not with other stuff I review). It’s good. Not great, but good. The album has it’s moments and there’s no denying that Jonny knows what he’s doing when it comes to music, but so much of the album just gets smushed together in a pile of forgettable material due to a plethora of only somewhat above average songs. On top of this, Jonny’s singing is an acquired taste. While I like it, I could see why others wouldn’t. Despite not being amazed with the album overall, I do like every song, the album just lacks something.

I’ve heard that Jonny is already working on his next album and I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if it was amazing. In fact, I’d be shocked if it wasn’t notably better.
